Therapeutic massage and bodywork in Austin, adapted to your concerns, movement and responses during the session. Read about the approach.
Which bodywork session length should I choose?
Focused is 60 minutes for a specific priority. Signature is 90 minutes and recommended for most first visits. Extended Signature is 120 minutes and equally welcoming to new clients who prefer more time.
Do I need to choose a particular massage technique?
No. Tell Erik what you'd like help with. He selects from myofascial, stretching and other therapeutic bodywork approaches during the visit.
What is Attentive Witness?
A separate service offering EFT tapping and parts-informed self-exploration, in person or virtually. Learn what a session involves.
How long is an Attentive Witness session?
Initial and standard ongoing sessions are 90 minutes at $200. Shorter 60-minute sessions can be arranged for established clients; pricing is provided on request.
Can I schedule bodywork and EFT together?
Yes, by contacting Erik directly. He will confirm separate time blocks and a total price before scheduling. Request a combined visit.
How do payments work?
Booking is currently handled through Acuity with Square as the connected payment processor. The existing booking flow requests card details, with an option to pay in advance. Follow the instructions shown during booking.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
For direct bookings, cancellations at least 36 hours ahead have no fee. Less than 36 hours but at least 24 hours incur a 50% charge, while less than 24 hours and no-shows incur 100%, based on your confirmed booking rate. Acuity allows online changes until 36 hours before your appointment. After that, contact Erik directly. Rescheduling requests are considered individually. Read the full policy.
Can I transfer my appointment to another person?
Yes, for appointments booked directly with Positive Pressure. If you can't make it to your appointment, feel free to send a friend. No prior approval is needed.
Are outcalls or after-hours sessions available?
Yes, by request. In-area outcalls add $75. After-hours appointments typically add $50, with timing-based adjustments at Erik’s discretion. Contact Erik to confirm arrangements.
Do I have to explain the details of a private concern in an EFT session?
Not necessarily. Some EFT approaches allow you to work with your responses while keeping the details private. Erik may ask general questions to guide the process, and the amount of context needed can vary.
Where is the studio, and when are sessions available?
4301 Russell Dr, Austin, TX 78704. Regular service hours are Monday–Saturday, 8 AM–8 PM, and Sunday, noon–6 PM. Appointment times depend on availability.
